Made it through November! On the home straight....

What a month this has been. I felt my November calendar was looming over me as October neared its end, taunting me as if to say "you aren't going to make it, you've bitten off more than you can chew, think you can do this? Pah!" Well November, I did it. I made it through!!
November 2014 had 5 long week ends. It was the month Aditya Yoga School 200 hours Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training commenced, not one but two full weekends of study, module 1 & 2 now completed. It saw CircusFit Aerial Yoga's 1st London student cohort trained and certified. It was performing with Smudged Theatre in the show Little Marionettes at MIMETIC Festival, The (infamous) Vaults under Waterloo Station. It was FitCamps Ribby Hall, showcasing CircusFit Aerial Yoga, Pilates, Slings and a debut for the class which is very dear to my heart Lyrical Flow Dance. I fell in love with dance all over again (thank you Clare Walters!) dancing with beautiful people a decade younger than me at MIMETIC, taking (what felt like a pilgrimage to) class at Independent Dance for the first time in over 6 years. It was the first full month of Old Street Gymbox being open, and I've been lucky enough to teach Hardcore, Aerial Pilates & CircusFit to the passionate members who are hungry to train and learn.
It has also been a breakthrough time in my personal life, learning to accept things, learning to be present, learning to be vulnerable, to take chances, to trust, to find balance.
Yesterday my wonderful friend Lucin Marshall shot the pictures for the new CircusFit Aerial Pilates Teacher Training course, which launches February 2015. i am so excited about this course and am falling in love with movement, and with aerial training possibilities again, and again, and again. Its like this well that springs forth more excitement, and enjoyment whenever I look a bit deeper. There is always more to see, more to do. This has also been the month of Thanksgiving in the US. Many of my friends are American and I give thanks, with them, for everyone and everything I am lucky enough to have in my life.
So I look forward to the close out of 2014 with gratitude, love and that tingling feeling you get when you are super excited about a good surprise that is coming your way. Maybe the two weeks of rest I have planned is also calling me. Hello December, we're on the home straight...
